This is the home of the Pho Challenge. Where if you finish a bowl filled with two pounds of noodles & two pounds of meat in an hour, you are the champion & is free from paying that expensive price! You also get your photo taken for the wall & get to keep the bowl as a token of your achievement. Oh yeah, you also have to sign a contract before you can try the challenge. Doesn't that sound awful?
12/1 Well for me, I just had an order of the pho with rare steak & tripe. Yum! It was a rare moment where I got to sit down & eat my pho with the SO, kinda. He absolutely does not like it, but at least bought Panda Express & ate with me in the little restaurant. I'm surprised the workers didn't say anything because it clearly states that no outside food were allowed. Ha.

Unfortunately a little over year & a half ago, I had my share of trying this Pho Challenge. The results? Of course I couldn't finish! I think I made it half way? Who knows. Everything was going so well until the rice noodles started to absorb the soup. Yuck. Maybe it would have been better with egg noodles. Yup, I don't know what I was thinking... Maybe it was just the idea that it was a food challenge & I wanted to try it. I have a history of food challenges & overeating. Eeek, I disgust myself a little.
