NOTD: Aquarius Sign

Since it's after January 20, I decided to do an Aquarius mani because that's my astrology sign. Haha, just the sign on my pointer finger. Very simple & a bit on the sloppy side! =P So you guys know what that means... my birthday is coming up ^___^ Horray! I used China Glaze Towel Boy Toy from their Pool Side collection & on my index finger is Sation Snow White with a layer of China Glaze Frosty from their 2010 Holiday collection. The Frosty layer is not noticeable in the picture, but it makes the white shimmery IRL. Eeek, & here's the shortest you'll ever see my nails! (hopefully) Just a couple of months to grow up x_x

Strategy, the bottom line and collaborative thinking are a big part of your day. Everything is businesslike and formal right now -- even one of your closest relationships. Subtracting emotions from the equation can sometimes be a very helpful thing, though. Your energy is up for anything, so if you need to pull an all-nighter or whip up a presentation in an instant, you'll definitely be up to the task. FOTD: Seoul on Wheels & Senor Sisig

1/13 I love food trucks, yes I do! In San Francisco, there's an event called Off the Grid that is held in multiple locations at different days/times of the week. Depending on which location you go to, there's a certain number of food trucks. I went to the location on Haight that appears every Thursday evening, & I think they have a maximum of 10 trucks. I wish I took more pictures though, but it was already dark when I arrived & I felt awkward flashing my camera. Ha. My kurrito was really good & well worth its $6! The SO & I shared one & we could barely finish. Yummy! I just couldn't taste the kimchi in it, so I bought a side for 50 cents.

Sisig Fries (so delicious!) & Sisig Taco

Here are pictures from when I went to Off the Grid in September! Both from Seoul on Wheels. I love Korean & bought from this truck every time I went! :) The only thing I didn't like about the taco was the corn tortilla, I prefer flour instead.

NOTD: Orly Space Cadet

The Orly Cosmic FX was a collection that I missed out on & was excited to get my hands on. I love the three bottles (It's Not Rocket Science, Out Of This World, & Space Cadet) I have & all of the color looks so amazing! Sadly, I don't feel that Orly Space Cadet looks right on my nails or any duochrome altogether. Nonetheless, it's still a nice overall color & a fun color to look at.  My photos does the polish no justice, but in certain shade or lighting, the polish comes off as purple, copper, swampy green, or anything along the lines.

See that tear in my pinky? It's so horrible! Too short to cut & makes the polish not appealing.

FOTD: Chicken Salad

I've cut back on the amount of times I normally eat out since the new year began & started eating salads. I need to save $$$ within the next couple of weeks, & maybe lose a pound or two along the way. I have all the ingredients at my house & at the SO's to make a salad for one of my meals each day. Yum! I bought four different dressings to give myself a new taste every time. Cesar (w/lemon juice) > Balsamic & Basil Vinaigrette > Raspberry Vinaigrette > House Italian. Next on my list will be Blue Cheese & Zesty Italian.

NOTD: Stellar Rose

These two colors together reminds me of a tea party. Pretty girly, something I can not wear for that long. I wanted to paint my nails blue or green, but opted for something different since I never use my pink polishes. Originally, I painted all of my nails with Sation Rose Quartz & placed Hello Kitty rose decals on my ring finger, but my top coat smeared it :( Normally that would not happen, but I think it was because I forgot to put a top coat right away & showered with the decal exposed. So my thumb still has the Hello Kitty rose decals, then replaced my ring finger with China Glaze Stellar & placed a flower decal with pearls. Hello Kitty nails will be saved for another time.

& It's finally time to cut my nails short, all the way down to the nail bed :'( It's all chipped because the SO accidentally sat on my hand! -___-

FOTD: Papalote Mexican Grill

1/5 A quick food post before I head to bed. Yes, my sleeping patterns are adjusted for school, so no more random all nighters. Anyways, Papalote is a burrito place that I've heard nothing but good things about by my peers. Finally had a chance to try it & it was different. Usually, I'm used to getting my burrito wrapped up in foil, but this one came on a plate & they workers served it to us. Pretty nice. The only thing I don't like about the restaurant are the  high metal chairs & how I felt like I was going to tip over if I sat all the way back. That is all, good night! [- -] zzz

NOTD: Hottie Charla

I can't bare taking off my nail polish if I don't add layers of some sort. I layered Sinful Colors Hottie on top of Zoya Charla, then placed a flower nail sticker & rhinestone on top. This combo wasn't much of a difference, just more summery. With less light, it comes off as a more teal-like color, but that's about it. Charla is beautiful color!

FOTD: Masu & Chang Puak

I had two food posts in my drafts from 2010, so here they are combined. :)

12/20 Masu... all you can eat sushi + more. I haven't gone to this restaurant in a couple of years, & I think I'm done with this place. The food disgust me now & the service is still horrible as ever! Can you believe the waitress dropped a strand of her hair in my cup while she was pouring me more tea! -____- However, the chicken udon noodle soup was delightful!

12/30 Chang Puak- I like the name of this place when translated to English, definitely a place I want to go to next year to exchange "White Elephant" gifts! Haha. It's a small, yet cozy Thai restaurant that was perfect for a little gathering. The place started to fill up pretty fast near closing time. Their food was pretty good, nothing too spectacular compared to other Thai restaurants I tried. My Tom Yum soup with flat rice noodles was good, not really what I expected though. I chose my spiciness level at 6, compared to a 1-10 scale, but if I had known that it was just chili powder, I wouldn't of made it spicy. Chili powder + soup makes me cough while eating.

NOTD: Zoya Charla + New Year Nail

Hello all! :)

I finally used one of my Zoya polish! Can't wait for my polishes from their Fb promo to come in. I used Zoya Charla & has been wearing it for almost a week. The color looks even more amazing  in person! This was also the first Zoya color I bought! Eek, & I tried the nails & polish bottle picture... holding them in place & taking the picture is pretty darn awkward. Haha.

Which of the above pictures/angle look more appealing? First, second, or third? I'm leaning more towards the third one, but the second of is easiest angle to take a picture. The first one gives a closer shot of the nails.

FOTD: Go Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Happy 2011! Quick post before I head out to dinner with my family! Can't believe I slept in so late though! =P

12/16 Go Sushi was another Groupon deal. The coupon said that we needed to make reservations before we went, so I did. We ate dinner around 4:30PM & we were the only ones there. I like the environment, the dim lights & the soft background music made the dining experience feel a bit fancy. Haha.

Oishii Roll

Oishii Roll: Cream cheese, tempura shrimp, ungai, crab meat, and avocado -- from the menu. The presentation of this sushi was really trippy! Never had one like this. I like it though! Reminds me of Jigsaw from Saw. Ha, tasted really good too! Not filling though, but that's okay.

3-Items Dinner Bento - Chicken Teriyaki, Gyoza, & Tonkatsu

This was one expensive bento! Which didn't look like usual restaurant bento. This was the SO's order. He only got this because we had the coupon. The gyozas were pretty tasty.
