Bundle Monster BM-308 Key Lime

Hi! I wanted to keep my posting consistence, but I disappeared right after I said that. Ha, opps. I started summer school, so that's giving me less hours in the days. I think I will start scheduling my posts soon. Oh & I've came to the conclusion that making the flower tutorial is quite a challenge! I need a second pair of hands to help me film & to figure out how to make my hand not look as awkward. I also tried doing a photo tutorial, but it's not coming out to my liking =P I did a yellow background & purple flowers. I'll edit those another day.

Anyways, my Bundle Monster plates came in the mail yesterday! This third set have some pretty awesome designs!! My favorite set so far! I was looking through all the images & a few of them screamed, "try me now!" Haha... here's the first one I tried! Hope you guys like it as much as I do!

For this key lime mani, I'm wearing two coats of China Glaze Entourage & stamped the citrus image from BM308 using Wet n Wild French White Creme. I used both Seche Vite & Warpaint Beauty Mattify for my topcoat. I love this mani! ♥ I just finished watching the Kdrama "Secret Garden" the other day & this mani reminds me of it because of Key Lime. Hehe, you'll understand if you watched it. I can't wait to try the other possibilities with just this image alone.

One of my citrus has a little boo boo :(

What do you guys think of this mani? Did you order this third Bundle Monster plates? Have any favorites?

Cherry Blossoms x Hello Kitty Nails

Hello readers! I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting daily, if not then every other days. I had to dig up an older mani from a couple months ago that I have yet to show you guys. I did this for the weekend of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Since Sanrio plays a little role in the festival, I had to incorporate Hello Kitty & cherry blossoms together. The cherry blossoms were done by a striping brush & dotting tool, while Hello Kitty & her bow are nail stickers. Hope you like this mani as much as I did!

Oh & excuse my blog, it's about to go through a makeover tonight. My comments are all over the place. Sometimes Intensedebate works, sometimes it's the blogger one. Dislike!

Flowers Nails & March Nail Polish Haul

Hello hello! Before I show you guys my very belated nail polish haul, here's my NOTD! I just added another layer of OPI So Many Clowns... So Little Time to my previous mani & then made flowers using a dotting tool. I remember someone asked me to do a tutorial before & I have yet to do so. Oops! Does anyone still need to see a tutorial? If so, I can make one after my next mani.

Now my belated belated nail polish haul from March! Better late than never.
I like to make these kind of posts to help me keep track of what & how many polishes I bought within that month.
Also afterwards, I update my spreadsheet. Too many polishes, not enough fingers!

Skin Food BL003 w/ Wet n Wild Party of Five Glitters

Hello lovely readers! =) Today I have a nail post to show you guys. I know... finally! I have a little over a week of free time before I start summer school, so I'll be painting my nails again.

Recently Skin Food opened a new location in San Francisco & I was drawn in by the samples they were handing out. I ended up getting two bottle of polishes because of their cute packaging & it was also my first time buying Skin Food products. I read before that Skin Food had problematic nail polishes a couple of years back, I'm not too sure if it was certain polishes or all of them. Hoping their formula are changed by now.

Anyways this is my current mani, I'm wearing four coats of Skin Food Milk Creamy Nail BL003 for the base color, one layer of Nubar White Polka Dot, one layer of Wet n Wild Party of Five Glitters, & one coat layer of OPI  So Many Clowns... So Little Time. The Skin Food polish applied streaky for me, that's why I had to pack on that many coats. Other than that, it came out to be a nice mint green color. I wore BL003 w/ White Polka Dot for 4 days without chipping & only slight tipwear. I wasn't satisfied with how it looked in the pictures, so I added the multi-colored glitters & SMCSLT for a more milkier look. This mani is similar to how I did my nails for my birthday a few months back.

Can you believe this mani has a whopping 14 layers of nail polish?! It adds up when I show you guys how each step looks with SV & a matte top coat. =) I don't mind the many layers, it makes my nail feel a bit stronger. Haha.

That's it for now. I'll try & play catch up tonight. I have 1000+ posts to check out in my Reader. How fun.

Black & White Challenge - Day 5

The girls who did this challenge are already done! Their links are in the end of this post, check them out! Now it's my turn to play catch up!

I left off with day 5 - Color base with something blackClick to see day 1, day 2day 3, or day 4.

Actually I did this challenge last month, but never had the chance to take pictures of my nails. Now I'm redoing the same design & I'm loving it the second time also! My inspiration came from Pebbles & Bam Bam from The Flintstones.

For Pebble's clothes, I used three coats of China Glaze Gaga for Green from their Electropop collection (which I love!) & for Bam Bam's clothes, I used three coats of China Glaze Papaya Punch from their Island Escape collection. These two polishes gets a bit spotty if you apply them too thin, other than that love them! The patterns on both their clothes was stamped using triangle designs from the Shany SH22 plate in Konad Special Polish Black. Seche Vite & Warpaint Beauty Mattify combo both after the base color & stamping.

These two color combo are very Easter-y/spring-y. It reminds me of the movie, HOP. Speaking of that, I think I missed the deadline for the HOP inspired doughnuts at Krispy Kreme >__<

Week 10: Polka Dot Mani

I have been away for way too long. I appreciate everyone who reached out & told me to come back to my blog. Hehe, I've just been out & about enjoying life outside the computer world. I haven't done much to my nails in the past month because of all the tears & breakage I've been experiencing. In that time I was able to finally organize & document all my polishes into a spreadsheet.

Now let me slowly catch up with the yearly challenge and black & white challenge. I'm always falling behind on those! Also, I haven't announced the winner to my recent contest, I'll have that out in a couple of days. Be patience with me, thanks.

I left off on week 10 - polka dots mani.

I used two coats of China Glaze 2030 & dotted with Wet n Wild Black Creme. The reverse colors are done on my accent finger. I feel like I've done a mani like this before, the two colors are just really lovely together! 2030 is my perfect gold chrome! I need to find another bottle when I reach below the halfway point. This mani was topped with Seche Vite & Warpaint Beauty Mattify.

Black & White Challenge - Day 3

Less than 5 minutes to spare before the day ends. The theme for today is a black base w/ color. Click to see day 1 or day 2.

I did my nails twice because I couldn't settle with the other one. Here is the second mani I did for this theme using stripes for my colors over a black base.

The base is Wet n Wild Black Creme & the stripes are LA Colors Art Deco in Quirky Turquoise & Metallic Pink. Finished off with a matte top coat.

Now this was the mani I first had in mind for the black base with color theme. I was inspired by World of Color in Disney's California Adventure Park. If you've seen it, you'll know how amazing that water show is! & If not, you can watch it on Youtube! Hehe. Anyways, the idea of World of Color didn't quite transfer onto my nails as I had imagined. It came out pretty cool though.

When I first tried this out on the nail wheel, I added hidden Mickeys!

I painted the colors with a brush & use Kleancolor Metallic in Pink, Fushia, Orange, Yellow, Green, Aqua, Sapphire, & Purple.

Once it was on my nails, I wanted to do a different design. Maybe I shouldn't have covered the entire nail & did it like the nail wheel.

What do you think, do you like the first mani I did or the second one with the stripes?

Dotting Flowers

I added some color to yesterday's b&w mani. You see why I wasn't satisfied with just white flowers, I knew I could do so much more to make it pop, lol. I did this mani last year also, where the colors are almost the same. I love how those flowers are easily achieved by just using a dotting tool. It's probably my favorite nail art to do. I'm about to enter this into Chalkboard Nails dotting tool nail art contest. Haha, talk about super last minute.

I used China Glaze Gaga For Green, Sunshine Pop, Aquadelic, & Gothic Lolita all from the Electropop collection to make an addition flower on each nail. Then topped it off with a matte top coat, Warpaint Beauty Mattify.

& Don't forget to join my giveaway if you haven't already, it ends in 10 days!
